Speed Training
What are the benefits (OBJECTIVES) ?
- Develop in athletes, optimum speed through specific techniques and Speed Training exercises.
- Increase overall strength through body circuits, isometric exercises (e.g. push-ups, dips, lunges, medicine ball throws).
- Improve ground speed through a series of power exercises (e.g. depth jumping, vertical jumps, hurdle jumps, anaerobic power circuits).
- Educate participants on all aspects of Speed Training (e.g. proper warm up, power, flexibility, speed endurance).
